When No Commissioning Services are Requested
The boat owner accepts full responsibility and liability for the commissioning of systems not serviced by Larsen Marine.
Launch Requirements
If you selected commissioning services, then your boat keys need to be in the boat or brought to the Service Department prior to launch and commissioning.
Please return all batteries to your boat prior to launch.
Please have at least 4 dock lines, 3 fenders, and a shore power cord aboard and accessible at the the time of launch.
If you are taking the Metra train to Waukegan, give us a call and we'll pick you up at the station. Please give us at least a 1-hour notice if you wish to utilize this service.
Departure Requirements
Upon your arrival, we require that you check-in with the Service Department to ensure that you have clearance for departure.
All balances must be paid in full to have clearance for departure.
Boats ready for departure are subject to dockage fees if left on-site after their scheduled departure date.
If your boat is kept at Waukegan Harbor and you selected no commissioning services, it must be transported to your slip the day you launch. Otherwise, you will be subject to storage fees.
Departure Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your arrival date after selecting your departure date, you may do so by contacting our Service Department at 847-336-5456 at least 48 hours prior to your original departure date. We cannot guarantee immediate space/availability if you reschedule, but we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Authorization TermsPlease carefully read the Authorization below and indicate you agree to the terms of authorization by digitally signing where indicated.
I have reviewed and verified the accuracy of my Commissioning Form responses. I hereby authorize the completion of the service/repair work requested along with the necessary materials and grant you or your employees' permission to operate the boat herein identified for the purpose of testing and/or inspection. I understand that any past due accounts unpaid one week prior to my scheduled launch date will result in my removal from the launch schedule. Payment for commissioning and other launch-related charges are due prior to departure.
